Toucharcade reports: Resolution Interactive, who brought us Clusterball Arcade, has today posted a gameplay video of a new iPhone title in development, Aqua Moto Racing.Right now we have basically no deatils on this title, but the gameplay video looks rather promising and we wanted to send a heads up out to the iPhone / iPod touch gaming community.
Now you can prepare drafts of your online auctions anywhere and anytime with your iPhone - may it be at home or on the move. It’s never been more comfortable to photograph and measure all that junk in the cellar, attic and garage and design an auction draft.

TouchArcade reports: Bank Panic turns your iPhone or iPod touch into a Nintendo Game & Watch-style LCD-based handheld game console of olde. It’s a simple game where paniced bankers seek to hurl themselves from highrises to the concrete below. It’s the player’s task to save them in a fireman’s trampoline.
Somewhat disturbingly (especially today), the game’s difficulty is directly tied to the Dow Jones–quotes are fetched at the beginning of each gameplay session. There are two difficulty (speed) settings to choose from. Control is carried out through two onscreen buttons (default) or via accelerometer. It’s about as simple as a game can get. Move left. Move right. Catch the falling bankers. It’s mostly about the retro novelty, but I found myself having fun with it. Retro fans may find it to be worth the $0.99 price of admission.
iClarified report: Skype has announced a version of its application for Google Android and says an iPhone Skype program isn’t far behind, reports the Denver Post.
“Skype’s iPhone application is still under development. Engineers are still working on cutting the amount of power the application consumes.” says Scott Durschlag, Skype’s chief operating officer.
It is unclear whether Apple will allow Skype to utilize 3G for calls. Apple has baned VOIP Internet applications from connecting to the cellular network, leaving them functional only when the user is using Wi-Fi.
The iPhone headphone socket has a little contact switch inside it that tells the iPhone to switch from external audio to headphones audio when plugged in. Sometimes this can get some dust or fluff underneath the contact and the iPhone or iPhone 3G can get jammed in headphones mode.
To cure this, one suggestion from Apple Technicians is to insert and retract the headphone jack a few times to dislodge the dust or fluff and clear the contacts in the iPhone.
Be gentle, you don’t want to break your iPhone or Headphones.
DISCLAIMER: We accept no responsibility if your big strong hands break your iPhone in the process.
Independent developer Bas Tossings has released a charming new iPhone game called Loopy Laboratory. While it’s not entirely perfect, after playing too many half-finished games and glorified tech demos, it was refreshing to finally see a game with some depth and character. One iTunes reviewer has described this as a remake of Chip’s Challenge/Tile World which it does seem to resemble though the developer says he was inspired by a number of older puzzle games which came together for this project.
The gameplay video shows a few of the early levels (3, 6, 7) and a later level (31). Note that the conveyor belt does not video tape well (grey moving walkway). [toucharcade]
