mind Wave uses binaural tones to induce relaxation, increase concentration or aid sleep.Slip on some headphones, fire up mind Wave and listen your way to a different mood or state of relaxation. This app is actually very cool, and works very well… The ‘timer’ is a great function, so as not to waste your iPhone’s battery long after you’ve finished counting sheep.
Enjoy your relaxation time, get this app from the iTunes App Store.
Try this out… it’s not as good as in the promo video from Google, but then I am in an office with a few people around, but seriously, it’s got it wrong 8 times. I’m already getting annoyed with this app. Maybe I’m not american enough, seeing as the app has a disclaimer that says ‘works best with a Northern American English Accent’…!!!
It’s clever I suppose, maybe you’ll have more luck than me using this app.
The new Google Mobile App, is available TODAY on the iTunes App Store.
An upcoming game has piqued our interest. We could call it a Puzzloop clone, but its really quite different, and actually a lot more polished. Use your multiple cannons to match 3 balls or more at a time (in a Puzzloop style) however, you’ve got two cannons and it works quite well. We love the surround graphics, it’s really well designed, and much more reminiscent of a video game from a big console. It feels like a full game, and that, we feel is something lacking at the moment on the iPhone.
Okay, so flipclocks are way cool. Every ‘creative’ type I know, seems to be running the uniqlock or fliqloscreensavers on their work computers. Now, you can have this same feeling of creative superiority on your iPhone! Get your artistic props, ON THE GO!
Seriously though, this is pretty cool. What makes this one special (and justifies its price) is that you can replace any of the images of the numbers - with photos from your phone. THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES!
A clock made up of lego men! or peanuts! or beer coasters! or sexual positions!
I’m not being very creative, am I? Anyway - it’s the price of a can of soft drink, and its funner.

The iPhone headphone socket has a little contact switch inside it that tells the iPhone to switch from external audio to headphones audio when plugged in. Sometimes this can get some dust or fluff underneath the contact and the iPhone or iPhone 3G can get jammed in headphones mode.
To cure this, one suggestion from Apple Technicians is to insert and retract the headphone jack a few times to dislodge the dust or fluff and clear the contacts in the iPhone.
Be gentle, you don’t want to break your iPhone or Headphones.

Independent developer Bas Tossings has released a charming new iPhone game called Loopy Laboratory. While it’s not entirely perfect, after playing too many half-finished games and glorified tech demos, it was refreshing to finally see a game with some depth and character. One iTunes reviewer has described this as a remake of Chip’s Challenge/Tile World which it does seem to resemble though the developer says he was inspired by a number of older puzzle games which came together for this project.
The gameplay video shows a few of the early levels (3, 6, 7) and a later level (31). Note that the conveyor belt does not video tape well (grey moving walkway). [toucharcade]
Black Mamba Racer is a $3.99 2D overhead racer in which you skid and slide your way around 25 racing mission across 9 different tracks. While the graphics may look primitive, the gameplay is surprisingly fun and challenging. iTunes App Store
