The Facebook iPhone App Is Broken

For those of you who didn’t notice yet, the Facebook app is broken. The news feed doesn’t seem to be affected yet but the profiles are down since over a day now, a particularly troubling situation since we are only 10 days after Joe Hewitt, the app developer, quit. According to TechCrunch, Facebook would be aware of the issue but their “engineering team” doesn’t seem to have fixed the problem quite yet. Transitions are always difficult but in the end Hewitt’s protest against Apple just leaves us without a working app…

    It broke for me and a bunch of friends yesterday but it's working again (and was last night as well). I just checked and they're working now.
