Is your iPhone jailbroken??? Have you now got Rick Astley as your wallpaper permanently??? You’ve been ‘Rick Rolled’… This virus is only designed to show the flaws and security risks of jailbreaking your iPhone. It will do no permanent damage, other than burning the image of 80′s pop icon Rick Astley in to the back of your retina.

How to get rid of ikee virus on iPhone

Step 1. Change the default mobile and root password for your iphone SSH to become immune to this virus once for all ! The tutorial for this is here: http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-secure-your-jailbroken-iphone-from-ssh-hack-9140084/

Step 2. Download mobileterminal through Cydia or use Iphone Explorer (www.iphone-explorer.com) for Windows

Step 3. Logon as Root and delete below files:

(1). /var/mobile/Library/LockBackground.jpg
(2). /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.ikey.bbot.plist
(3). /bin/poc-bbot

be careful about the redmondpie link. i clicked on it, it said the file is removed and before i know it, the pages open one after another and i could not close it fast enough. about 100 pages opened in less than a min and i managed to shut down my pc before the whole window crashed. not sure if it is on purpose or some kind of java error but it sure was scary. i meant to look for a virus cure and maybe caught another one instead. by the way, i was using internet explorer 7.

Hi guys, I followed all the steps exactly and deleted all the files listed above. When I set my wallpaper and reboot my iPhone, rich astley's face still appear at the lockscreen even though I set user lock background in winterboard and put it at top priority. What did I do wrong?

    Thanks in advance.
