Beejive removed from the App Store

Beejive has been taken down from the App Store, we’re not quite sure why yet, but quite possibly it’s because it simply has too many bugs. After using it for the past couple of days, we’ve found it to be very buggy, and we wouldnt be surprised if Apple, or customer complaints led to its removal until bugs are ironed out.

UPDATE: Beejive is BACK on the App Store

I’ve been using it rather heavily with very few bugs that I have noticed. I initially had connection issues, but I am connecting fine now. Push is amazing. It has crashed a couple times, but what app hasn’t?

Very few bugs for me, I see it still in the Appstore. Maybe you caught it missing while Apple was doing a database update.

I’ve found it fine myself, in fact I love it. Only thing I’ve noticed is that I often get a push message from MSN telling me it’s d/c’d but it seems to still be connected if I start up the app. I don’t think that can be pinned on the app though, and more MSN dropping connection.

Yeah, I had some problems at first. Deleted it, reinstalled, and now it works pretty darn well. The push is instant, too. Very happy customer here!

There is a pretty nasty bug in the latest version associated with their new meta-contact feature that can cause the entire OS to crash if you are also syncing contacts via exchange.

I’ve been rocking the update and I’ve found the app to be very buggy. I can’t even log on to FB chat anymore, I get an error message.

I thought the meta-contact feature might be causing some of the problems, but disabling it did not resolve any issues.

I’m looking forward to an update.

The Facebook thing is being fixed. Beejive had problems with their servers and are turning it back on slowly. Mine is working again.

They also had trouble connecting to yahoo but that was also a network issue of beejive’s and its been fixed.

None of those issues needed an update of the program and from what i can tell the software itself is working fine.o

Love this app, such a good IM solution for the iPhone’s complete lack of any built in instant messaging.
