Update your Facebook app to get all the latest 3.0 goodness. The app doesnt look any different but we are assured it is now 3.0 friendly. (thats all that facebook say on iTunes).
Hopefully push notifications will now work properly. Give it a go.
UPDATE: THIS 3.0 UPDATE DOES NOT SUPPORT PUSH.

Tested and don’t seem to be getting any push notification…unless not supported on 2g iPhone on 3.0.

No push notifications in this new update…..shame since it could’ve worked nicely. Looks like FaceBook are generally neglecting the iPhone app

Either this is a lame attempt to get their app back on the top 50 list or Apple is really yielding 3.0 push apps in fear on repeating the MobileMe disaster of last year.

all the update did was enable the 3GS camera for uploading straight after taking a photo, apart from that nothing else is new… Push would have been nice though
