After a lot of excitement we’re kind of let down by the iPhone version of Metal Gear Solid. Hoping that it would be a 3D environment game where you wander around and find things (like MGS on the console platform), we’re a bit let down to realise this is actually a weaker version of Namco’s Time Crisis. The only similarity between Metal Gear Solid on the iPhone compared to the console version is the actual name.
Saying that, it’s a clever game, with nice crisp graphics, but there are plenty of other, cheaper games out there that really make you go ‘wow!’ whereas Metal Gear Solid Touch has already been deleted from my iPhone.
