Very simply, GeoTweeter appends a ‘schmap.me’ map link to tweets, showing the user’s current location, with an optional photo, notes and a configurable map icon. Previously saved places can also be retweeted – useful for recommending favorite restaurants etc. and inviting followers to tweetups.
We like this idea, even though this level of Geo-Targeting is a little scary, its a fun way to show your friends your movements around town. Essential for any Twitter-addict… (that means all of us!)
