Apple will soon be launching a $19.99 Premium Game section to the iTunes App Store. So far, most of the larger game companies have been reluctant to try to compete with the cheaper (circa $3) games arena on iPhone. This ‘premium’ section will no doubt entice the big games developers to bring ‘larger’ more full-length games to the iPhone platform. Apple will need to work with these developers to stop the frequent crashes that are oh-so-common with games on the iPhone.
The iPhone has the same amount of power as the PS2 or Xbox, so we’re expecting some very awesome stuff in the next few months as the big players harness the power of the iPhone.

Maybe Dreamcast at most, but even then we’re pushing it.
