We’ve been avid users of Google Maps since its inception on the iPhone, and so Street View was something that we were really excited about. However, nothing could have prepared us for the just how awesome Street View on the iPhone is. Google Street View on the iPhone makes the full web version look slow and clunky. Using iPhones Core Image technology, navigating around maps and down streets is the smoothest experience ever, using the deceleration animation style we are used to on the iPhone, Google Street View is just a phenomenal user experience. Running on 3G it was zippy and useable. This app was the only reason I upgraded, and I am so pleased I did.
