Palringo for iPhone is an instant messenging client. Palringo supports MSN Messenger / Live Messenger, Google Talk, Yahoo!, AOL and iChat as well as some less used messenger clients. Set up on the iPhone could have been easier, it’s not very inuitive, and we struggled to add a new service when setting up the software.
This version of Palringo has bugs. Whenever we clicked on the top two buddies in our list it would try to connect to Samantha (!)… I guess she works at Palringo…? We couldnt actually initiate a conversation with anyone either, that may be a bug or perhaps the user interface is not clear enough, either way, we were not able to test this software properly because of it.
Other than the bugs, this piece of software has great potential, and once Apple’s persistance servers go live in September, apps like this will come in to a class of their own.
VERDICT: 60% (has potential)

The best the feature of Palringo is the fact that you can use the iphones camera to drop images into MSN/AIM immediately.
I found this pretty useful when proving to people I was chatting on my iphone.
